DREAM PARTY HOTEL is an ever evolving, multi-disciplinary project interested in exploring the cultural effects of Dreams and Dreaming. We utilize techniques of Active Dreaming, an original synthesis of archaic shamanism and modern psychology. along with immersive and design elements to create spaces where we can gather socially to explore the depths of our dreams and inner experience.  The Hotel seeks to elucidate and exemplify a mode of being in the world that is informed by and rooted in the eternal world, the mythic world, the dreaming- where our lives have their origin, their meaning and purpose. We hope to bring balance to the secularized and over-materialized life of the 21st century by curating non-linear time, sacred spaces and practical magic to become cultural staples in the daily lives of our guests. Our techniques are as practical as they are surreal, and can be utilized within the quick-paced tempo of modern life. We celebrate individuation over conformity, with practices that revere what is shared and fundamental within us all; honoring the authority of the individual and his/her direct source to knowledge and wisdom of Self.  Our practices are simple and straightforward enough for all ages and levels to utilize; informed by the divinely granted capacity of all people to dream, and to remember.

We honor dreams not only as mirrors of our ordinary lives with subconscious fears and desires but also as direct experience, spiritual travel, wishes of the soul and sincere acquaintance with a deeper order of reality where we meet and encounter guides, allies, sources of real energy and authentic power, and departed loved ones who teach us about the conditions on the other side of life.

Active Dreaming is being active with your dreams, both spontaneous night dreams and the waking dream of life. Active Dreaming is a synthesis of archaic shamanism and modern dream work, weaving ancient technology and perspectives with modern day psychology.  Through Active Dreaming we learn to reconcile the mind by harmonizing discrepancies between the conscious and the subconscious; self and other; waking and dreaming; life and death.
